Who are Neon Rodeo
Neon Rodeo are a high-energy, genre-blending band that brings the wild spirit of the West into the modern era.
Starting when we were first struck by Amber Sands at a cosy Brighton open mic, her talent was immediate, and we were blown away. The band quickly formed around her. Neon Rodeo have gone through a few iterations, formally as a 6-piece called The Hoedown Hunnies, to landing at their current refined form as a fourpiece. Their current members are Amber Sands on vocals, Jullia Traser on guitar, Leo Driver on bass guitar and Tom Eames on drums.
With a strong country foundation, they take inspiration from Dolly Parton, Trixie Mattel along with the likes of Hayley Williams and Taylor Swift.
Previously been invited to play at Brighton Pride’s Fabuloso, the largest Pride celebration in the UK as well as multiple other Pride events, day festivals and live shows around the UK and the South. They are always on the lookout for new places that they can take their sound.
