Amber Sands
Lead Vocals / Ukulele 🎤Amber is our drag queen lead singer, who has been with the band since the very beginning!
Pulling from country, pop & alternative music influences, from Dolly to Paramore, she is known for her powerful vocals and ability to bring the house down.
Accompanied by her ukulele, Amber also writes the band’s original music. 🎶
Julia
Alongside being a solo artist in her own right, Julia also leads guitar and backing vocals in Neon Rodeo.
Her biggest influences include Dodie, Jason Mraz, Sara Bareilles, KT Tunstall and Taylor Swift.
Julia’s energy is truly unmatched, and she brings a very special spark to the band 💫

Leo is our lad from the North! Well, Yorkshire, but anything is North when you’re on the south coast!
Our master of the bass, keys & electric guitar, Leo is the bassline heartbeat of the band.
His influences include Sam Fender, MUNA, Dolly Parton and John Mayer. 🎹
The Neon Roadies
You’ll probably catch Em & Marta whenever you come to a Neon Rodeo gig!
Marta keeps Amber sane and the band fed, and Em adds back up vocals plus keeps us all organised. Iconic.
Drums / Film & Video 🥁Tom
Tom is our drummer and human metronome, keeping us all in time from his behind his kit.
You’ll hear him before you see him!
Tom is also lead videographer on our music videos, and takes a lot of our photos.
His influences include Ben Thatcher, Royal Blood, Keith Moon and Ginger Baker. 🛢️
